2. "I'm parched," Tom said drily.
3. "I put twenty dollars into the collection plate," Tom offered.
4. "I'm guilty," Tom said with conviction.

6. "Fan that fire!" Tom bellowed.
7. "You deserve a whipping," Tom lashed out.

41. "I've got a PhD and teach at a university," Tom professed.
42. "I'll love you forever," Tom avowed.
43. "That really hurt," Tom avouched.
44. "I can control my emotions," Tom maintained.
45. "I can beat you in any game you want to play," Tom contended.
46. "I'm leaving now," Tom set forth.
47. "Doc, there's a growth under my skin," Tom insisted.
48. "I'm really worried about my health," Tom stressed.
49. "I have the authority to search your house," Tom warranted.
50. "I'm crazy about my sled dogs," Tom said huskily.
